Sally Bee is a clothing design studio driven by color, manipulation and print. In the drivers seat is Sally Smith, creating under the alias given by her father. Growing up, barbie dolls wore couture gowns made of hand painted tissue. Birthday parties featured costume parties and fashion shows with garments made of newspaper. Several years later, it was off to college, in which Sally attended for Industrial (Product) Design. Armed with a degree; experience in retail including window design, a stint in the textile industry and a crash course in screen printing, Sally decided to get into a real relationship with her true love. In 2003, Sally Bee was born. Truly built to fit, Sally Bee clothing is blessed individually with original, screen printed designs, appliques and nifty alterations. Clothing receives couture treatment at Sally Bee, as Ms. Smith redefines the American uniform. |
